HOW TO SAVE AND USE SWFS FILES
Go on a Flag that dosent have much people in it. Dont use the USA Server if you live in the USA (This also goes for Hawaii and Alaska and maybe Canada)
If you live in the USA, Hawaii, Alaska, or maybe Canada, try scheduling a time where not that people are on. Try around 11:30pm to 4:30am.
Try going on the Safe Chat Server’s becuase not many people go on them
Go to a room that not much people go on
Try going to Servers that dont usually that much people go on, for the USA Flag, i would say: Abominable
Dont go on a Server that your friends on your buddy list are on
Try wearing very new clothing, wearing old or rare clothing will get more people which takes even longer to find the SWF Links
Try going on a account that has 100 buddies so the you wont get any buddy request message’s which makes it easier to find the SWF
Go on Server were people dont wear much clothing and a Server where people like wear the Same clothing. Penguins wearing clothing, the clothing SWF comes and it will take harder to find. If lots of people were wearing the same clothing, only 1 SWF will show.
Clear your Temp more then 1 time to make sure you can find your SWF faster
Ok, those are some hints. Now we dont want to take forever looking for the SWF and becuase all the pages you visited. It will take forever so we have to clear the Temp ONLY becuase if you delete all, all your saved saved links in the address bar and your penguins you saved on the computer will disappear. So here is how you clean up the Temp. I would suggest you use IE becuase Firefox wont work and maybe the other browsers to:
Internet Explorer 7.0:
Go to “Tools”
Then click “Internet Options”
Then on the “General” Tab, click “Delete”
Then next to the “Temporary Internet Files” section, click “Delete Files”
Ok, now go to Club Penguin and login. If you want to a SWF of a room, go to a room next to the room that you want. For Example: I want the Beach SWF, i need to go to a room thats next to a beach like the Lighthouse, Ski Village or Docks. After that, clear your Temp again so you can remove those the SWF Rooms you went in before. Now go to the Room you want the SWF and then STOP. As soon as the room loaded, follow these Directions:
Go to “Tools”
Then to “Internet Options”
In the “Browsing History” area, click “Settings”
Then click “View Files”
Ok, now this next part is ganna be easy but not all the time. Now you have to look for the SWF file. You can find the SWF file by looking at the file name. For Example: Im trying to look for the Beach SWF, i need to look for name of the SWF File. If i was looking for the beach, the file name would be “beach40” or something similer to that. Not in every single SWF file will show the whole name like if i was looking the Ski Village it would be “village40” or something similar to that. Also, when your looking for a room, its better that you know the whole room name becuase the name might not show as you think. For Example: If you were looking for the HQ, it wouldent be “hq40“, it would be “agent40“. If the names were to long, they would take half the name as the SWF File Name. For Example: I was looking for mountions, it wouldent be “mountions40“, it would be “mtn40“.
Ok, you found the SWF file you want. Now right or left click on that file and then click “Properties“. After that you found the link!
Ok, now in order to save it, try looking for a program where you can enter the link and download it. Try looking one up on a search engine’s, here are some Trusted Search Engine’s:
Yahoo! Search
Google
Ask.com
Window’s Live Search (MSN Search)
Now after downloading the SWF, you want to upload it. Here are place’s where you can upload SWF
Google Pages (You will need a Google Account to login here, Click here to create one for free)
Image Shack
MegaUpload
And Many More!
You cant see old rooms. If the link dosent work, it will take you back to the Club Penguin Homepage.Now. If you want a SWF of a newspaper, this will be easy.
In your Address Bar, copy and paste this:
http://media.clubpenguin.com/artwork/news/Year/Date.swf
Now, you have to get the code of the Newspaper, you can only get the code by Date. So in the “/Year/“, your going to type the year, like 2008. Now you need to type the date, here is how.
If the Newspaper came out on Jan 24. You would type “/0124/“
The first 2 numbers in the date is the month so if its like February, the 1st 2 numbers will start with “02” but if it was like October, the 1st 2 numbers would be “11“, here are the month numbers for the 1st 2 numbers.
January: 01
February: 02
March: 03
April: 04
May: 05
June: 06
July: 07
August: 08
September: 09
October: 10
November: 11
December: 12
Ok, after entering the 1st 2 numbers. The Next 2 numbers is the day on when it came out. So if the newspaper came out on the 24 of January, the last 2 numbers would be 24.
Here is a Example Date.
If the Newspaper came out January 24, 2008, here is what you enter:
/2008/0124
And here is what the link would look like:
http://media.clubpenguin.com/artwork/news/2008/0124.swf
And saving it is the same way as i told you last time.
You cant see the old newspaper’s. Only newspapers that are in the boiler room cabinet. If the link dosent work, it will take you back to the Club Penguin Homepage.
Now if you need a catalog, this will be a little tuff.
Here is what the SWF catalog is:
http://play.clubpenguin.com/artwork/catalogue/catalog name here_catalog id here.swf
Now to find the proper catalog, you must look in:
http://play.clubpenguin.com/setup.txt
Ok, in order to find the Catalog Name, it depends on what catalog you are looking, i made a list of what to enter for the catalog name:
Clothing Catalog: clothing
Sport’s Catalog: sport
Wig Catalog: hair
Furniture Catalog: furniture
Igloo Upgrade’s Catalog: upgrade
Puffle Catalog: puffle (On http://play.clubpenguin.com/setup.txt, it will say “adopt”)
Pet Furniture Catalog: pets
F.I.S.H Catalog: fish
Post Card Catalog: cards
Pirate Catalog: pirate
Stage Costume Catalog: costume
Im ganna use the Clothing Catalog, so now i have this:
http://play.clubpenguin.com/artwork/catalogue/clothing_catalog id here.swf
Now for the catalog ID, your ganna really need to go to:
http://play.clubpenguin.com/setup.txt
Ok, now go threw the list till you found the catalog you want. Im ganna use clothing. The Clothing Catalog on the list will look like this:
&clothing=0801&
Now next to “clothing=“, their are 4 numbers, that is the ID code of the catalog, so now the link will look like this:
http://play.clubpenguin.com/artwork/catalogue/clothing_0801.swf
Saving is still the same way and yes you cant look back old catalog’s.
Now if you are looking how to get the SWF of the Telescope, this will be very easy, faster and better then the Catalog one.
In your Address Browser, type this:
http://media.clubpenguin.com/artwork/tools/telescope#.swf
Now go to:
http://play.clubpenguin.com/setup.txt
Now look for “&telescope=(Code)&“
Right next to “&telescope=” is the code. So if it was “&telescope=2” The link would be:
http://media.clubpenguin.com/artwork/tools/telescope2.swf
Here are Some Telescope ID’s you might Come accress
&telescope=0& = Blank Telescope
&telescope=1& = Rockhopper’s Ship Far Away
&telescope=2& = Rockhopper’s Ship Close
&telescope=3& = Rockhopper’s Ship Leaving (Close)
&telescope=4& = Rockhopper’s Ship Leaving (Far)
&telescope=5& = Rockhopper’s Ship Wreaked (Far)
&telescope=6& = Rockhopper’s Ship Wreaked (Close)
&telescope=crash1& = Rockhopper’s Ship Crashed
&telescope=crash2& = Rockhopper’s Ship Broken
&telescope=crash3& = Rockhopper’s Ship into Pieces
Saving them is the same way as i said before.
